ACCOUNTS INTERN – VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Moore Zambia CFS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to join our team in Lusaka. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a professional accounting and advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Help prepare financial statements and management reports under supervision
• Support tax computations and statutory filings (VAT, PAYE, etc.)
• Assist with filing, record-keeping, and maintaining accurate financial documentation
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting software/systems
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, ZICA, or a related field
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software is an added advantage
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organizational skills
